It has a lot of built-in software and an application you run on your computer to build your job using a copy&paste approach. After you have done the 'programming' you load the program on the CarveWright card and insert that card into the woodworking machine. Insert the board and clamp it in place and the software takes over and measures and cuts the board as needed. It then starts performing the program and does the wood carving yuo requested.]
